I have a Medical on my wage. I went to court because I could not afford the amount they were taking and the judge reduced it to an affordable amount. Now I have a funeral home trying to garnish my wage also. Will the 2nd garnishment be allowed since the court has already determined what I could afford to pay my wage ?

I am and have been trying to get information about papers I received in the mail the courts stating that “an order on motion to set aside order for installment payments” is granted and a of garnishment MAY issue. Before I could get papers filled out for “a motion for installment payments” request, my bank account was cleaned out. I did not get any further papers telling me that the writ was ordered and if it was for periodic or non-periodic payments. Does anyone know if I should have received notification of that and can give me further direction.

My business won a settlement against a company. A of was issued to the company’s bank. In the garnishee response the bank stated that the company held no accounts with their institute.

I know the company has several accounts with the bank.  I even made a deposit into one of their accounts yesterday.

What should be my next step?
