My friend is thinking about not showing up for because he can’t afford an attorney, and he’s being sued for a repo’d car. Can they attach or take his bank account money if they get a default judgment against him IN TEXAS? I’m asking because every state is different, and for some reason I thought unless you’re a government employee in Texas, they can’t attach your wages.
They can’t afford a lawyer, and were served yesterday and have 10 days to respond which I think is crazy.
