I was laid off a couple of years ago and was for obvious reasons unable to pay a number of bills. One of those bills was a school loan that ended up in a garnishment at 25% bi-weekly December of last year. I paid a couple of lump payments to get the balance down, as a result; the ordered balance should have been satisfied and actually overpaid by now. The attorney admits that the balance was overpaid, but has been making excuses and dragging his heels on releasing it for over two months now. Meanwhile, there is still 25% coming out of my .
